According to Pelicans reporter Rod Walker, team's interim head coach James Borrego revealed that Alvarado is “closer to two weeks away” from returning as he continues to recover from an oblique injury.
The 27-year-old guard has missed the last three games and has been listed as day-to-day on the injury report.
This season, Alvarado has appeared in 35 games, averaging 7.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists.
