Kyle Lowry reacts to Raptors fans' cheers, ovation in potential final Toronto game

Lowry earned an overwhelming reception from the Raptors fans in perhaps for his final game in the Scotiabank Arena.

In what might be the final time they'll see him on their home floor, fans of the Toronto Raptors gave all they got to cheer franchise icon Kyle Lowry.

With less than two minutes left in regulation, the Scotiabank Arena was roaring with "We want Lowry!" chants. Joel Embiid and the rest of the Philadelphia 76ers approached Lowry during this process.

As such, Lowry immediately earned the nod of head coach Nick Nurse to enter the game. The Toronto fanbase erupted with cheers upon witnessing the greatest Raptor back in his old stomping ground.

It was all smiles for everyone within the arena, as Lowry obtained a huge standing ovation.

"I had Trenton Watford next to me sitting on the bench. And he was like, 'Come on, Kyle, you gotta go in, go in, get what you're in for.' And it's cool to have teammates like that and just listen to the fans. And I mean, that's why I always say they are the greatest fans in the world to me. They've been supportive of me and my career. And a lot of the things I've accomplished in my career was in front of these fans.

"And that's why this place is so special to me."
