There has been some reports in the media which have claimed Crystal Palace have slapped a £40million price tag on Marc Guehi should the likes of Chelsea try and sign him this month, The Sun report.
Guehi, who becomes a free agent at the end of the season, had been linked with a January move to Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and CHELSEA for his performances in that Palace shirt over the past few transfer windows.
The defender has not come out and admitted that he would like to leave, nor has any of the chasing clubs submitted an offer to try and get a deal done, but that hasnt stopped the speculation which has suggested a move could happen this month.
Manchester City want to sign the Crystal Palace captain this month following injuries to Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol, with Arsenal and Liverpool keen on moving in the summer – when his current contract at Selhurst Park expires.
According to reports, Chelsea are ready to try and sign the defender this month and with all the interest in the services of Guehi and the fact he is out of contract at the end of the season, it has been claimed on the Sun that Palace will want no less than £40 million for their star man.
IcChelseanews Says…
Guehi has developed into one of the best defenders in the Premier League, he would be worth that asking price of £40 million and we should make a move for the star before the other teams make their move.
I would love to see him sign for the club this January
