Nikola Topic shared his first Instagram update since beating testicular cancer, posting photos from Oklahoma City Thunder practice with the caption “back on court.”
Nikola Topic is ready to get back on the court after facing a serious health challenge. The Oklahoma City Thunder player was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer, but he started treatment right away and now reports that he has beaten the disease.

Topic has already returned to practice with the Thunder and shared a motivational update on social media. Posting photos from training, he captioned them with just three words: “back on court.”
Back in late October, the 20-year-old point guard and Serbian national team player received the tough diagnosis.
The cancer required immediate surgery and follow-up chemotherapy. Many worried about his future in basketball and beyond, but Topic showed remarkable courage and determination throughout the process.
After completing treatment, Topic returned to team workouts, where videos from Thunder practice captured him pushing hard alongside his teammates.
Although this is officially Topic’s second season with Oklahoma City, he has yet to make his NBA debut. His rookie year was cut short by a serious knee injury, and then the cancer diagnosis presented another major obstacle.
