Everton are in the market for a right-back this January transfer window.
Jake O’Brien has been criticised for his lack of attacking threat, as it’s starting to become apparent that he should be moved back into his most favoured role at centre-back.
David Moyes has been looking at several right-back options, with Arsenal’s Ben White the latest to be linked to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Everton fans are really excited by the White interest and believe his potential signing would be a real coup.
That said, it’s just emerged how he’s feeling about leaving Arsenal amid the rumours to the Merseysiders.

Ben White is open to leaving Arsenal amid Everton interest
White has started just four Premier League games this season, with Jurrien Timber the preferred option at right-back.
As such, Ben Jacobs understands that White is actually open to leaving the North Londoners if the right offer arrives.

“I’m not aware that he’s overly agitating to leave. But by the same token, if the right offer arrives, I think that you’ll find both Benjamin White and Arsenal have a conversation,” Jacobs told the Highbury Squad YouTube channel.
“Whether or not that’s going to be mid-season remains to be seen. From Everton’s point of view, they are looking to strengthen in that area.”
Jacobs continued: “But from Arsenal and White’s perspective, it’s been a relatively difficult few months simply because from White’s point of view, I think he understands, regardless of form or fitness, that in the long run it might be best to start looking elsewhere.”
Everton are also eyeing Emil Holm
As well as White, Everton are also weighing up a move to sign Emil Holm from Serie A outfit Bologna.
Interestingly, Bologna are showing an interest in Nathan Patterson, so perhaps a swap deal could be on the cards.
Five assists this season… this would be a huge upgrade for Everton! 🤩
Could this be the right-back Everton need to transform the team?

A swap deal would be the ideal scenario for Everton, as it’d save funds so that more could be spent on a centre-forward.
Ivan Toney is on Moyes’ radar, but that deal would require substantial finances given his wages.
