The Grizzlies will play the Magic in Berlin and then face them again a few days later in London, putting extra focus on Morant's injury status and a possible return to action.
Asked directly if Morant could play in the Berlin game, Iisalo confirmed the star guard is moving in the right direction during practice.
"Yeah, he's progressing in the practices. He's already able to do a lot of the parts in practice, so it looks good to progress."
Despite the international stage and added attention, Iisalo made it clear there is no pressure to rush Morant back before he is fully ready.
"I don't think there's pressure from that side. I think it's more that doesn't match the timeline, that everybody feels comfortable with him being out there and being 100%."

The coach also explained how Morant's work on the court has increased compared to a week ago.
"Just basically the speed and intensity of play, picking it up little by little and then growing the volume over."
When asked again if there is a real chance Morant could suit up during the Global Games, Iisalo did not rule it out. "Yeah, that's what we need," he concluded
Morant has struggled to stay healthy this season, appearing in just 18 games so far. He is also having the least efficient offensive season of his career, averaging 19 points while shooting 40.1 percent from the field.
There have also been issues off the court. Morant's relationship with Iisalo has reportedly been strained after a clash earlier this season, which led the Grizzlies to suspend the 27-year-old guard for one game due to conduct detrimental to the team.
With the Feb. 5 trade deadline approaching, several teams are rumored to be monitoring Morant's situation closely.
