Chelsea have been linked to making several world-class signings in January under new manager Liam Rosenior.
The Blues are preparing for a tough Carabao Cup clash against rivals Arsenal in the semi-final first leg at Stamford Bridge. It’ll be Rosenior’s first big challenge as Chelsea boss, as his side won 5-1 against Charlton in his opening match over the weekend.
Chelsea will hope to boost Rosenior’s chances of a fantastic start to life at Stamford Bridge by bringing in some talent, and they have been linked to signing a goalkeeper, centre-back, and a winger in the January window.

Maignan and Jacuet join the Chelsea defence

GK – Mike Maignan, AC Milan –The Blues were linked to Maignan in the summer. He has just six months left on his contract, so could go for cheap in January.
LB – Marc Cucurella – Cucurella has become somewhat of a must start for Chelsea when he is fit and available.
CB – Jeremy Jacquet, Rennes –Chelsea are one of several Premier League clubs who have been linked to Jacquet. Others include Liverpool and Arsenal.
CB – Trevoh Chalobah – Chalobah has been the Blues’ best central defender this season, so keeps his place in the starting XI.
RB – Reece James – The Chelsea captain has played well this season, and will hope to make Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad.

CM – Moises Caicedo – Caicedo has been one of the best midfielders in world football over the past year.
CM – Enzo Fernandez – Rosenior will hope to give Fernandez freedom to attack, as he can be very impactful when on the ball.
CAM – Cole Palmer – Palmer remains a key player for Chelsea, and Rosenior will look to build around the England international.
Yan Diomande joins for £86m
LW – Yan Diomande, RB Leipzig –Chelsea and Arsenal have been linked to signing Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig. He is expected to cost a hefty £86m.
RW – Estevao – In terms of the other wing, it has to be Estevao, he has been simply excellent since joining in the summer.
ST – Joao Pedro – So far, Pedro has shown more quality than Liam Delap, so he gets the start at the striker spot.
