Tottenham have been abysmal of late in the Premier League.
Tottenham Hotspur have struggled on the front foot this season. And this struggle to get the ball in the back of the net has led to Thomas Frank scratching his head as the pressure on the Dane continues to rise. But the ongoing January transfer window offers the officials at Hotspur Way the opportunity to back the man in charge with forwards who can make an impact as the Lilywhites look to save face and salvage something from the season.
And to do so, they are looking to go to Manchester City and sign someone who has experienced the league with a medal and is yet quite hungry to prove his credentials.

There have been recent reports suggesting neither Savinho nor Omar Marmoush would be allowed to leave the Etihad Stadium in the January transfer window, despite the Cityzens already landing Antoine Semenyo. And with Manchester City keen to retain both players for the second half of the season, Tottenham have pulled a rabbit out of their hat and identified a third winger.
Oscar Bobb is a name on the Lilywhites’ radar for the January window after the 22-year-old has seen his game time significantly reduced this season. And according to TEAMtalk, there is a realistic chance that Bobb could be allowed to leave Manchester City this month, with Antoine Semenyo taking up his space in that roster.
But the report names Tottenham as only one of the clubs keeping tabs on his situation. But the Lilywhites are not alone. German giants Borussia Dortmund are also said to be exploring a move for the Norwegian. And coming closer to home, Crystal Palace are also being kept informed about his availability.

Palace have Guehi advantage in their pursuit to land Oscar Bobb
Given that Manchester City have been interested in signing Marc Guehi, there is a possibility that the Eagles bring up Bobb’s name in discussion with City.
And this will put Crystal Palace in a strong position to land Oscar Bobb.

From a Tottenham perspective, Bobb is an intriguing option. He has won a title with Man City, and then, given his age, Bobb does fit the age profile that the Lilywhites have been looking to bring into the roster at N17. It is to be seen if Spurs capitalise on their interest in him in the next days.
