The Lakers are now just 4-6 over their past 10 games. LA is fifth in the Western Conference with a 23-14 record. The team is not playing their best basketball at the moment, but there is reason to believe they can get back on track.
Doncic has continued to play at a high level. The 26-year-old guard leads the league with a 33.6 points per game scoring average. He is also getting the job done in other facets of the game as evidenced by his 8.7 assists, 8.0 rebounds and 1.7 steals per contest averages.
However, Luka is shooting just 32 percent from beyond the arc. He is finding the bottom of the net at a 46.5 percent rate from the field, however. Doncic is playing his way into the MVP conversation once again.
As for the Lakers, they will attempt to jump back into the win column on Tuesday night in the second of a back-to-back against the Atlanta Hawks. Tip-off is scheduled for 10:30 PM EST in Los Angeles.
