Yes, Auston Matthews loved Kyle Lowry’s fit on Sunday.
The Maple Leafs captain was delighted with the former Raptors star’s choice of clothing before the Philadelphia 76ers visited the Raps at Scotiabank Arena.

Lowry was sporting a black Matthews Leafs jersey as he entered the building and later told media he respects “the hell out of Auston.”
It reportedly was a signed jersey from Matthews with a personal message for Lowry.

In Denver, where the Leafs beat the Colorado Avalanche 4-3 in overtime on Monday night, Matthews took note.
“Pretty cool,” Matthews told media. “He’s a Raptors legend, a Toronto legend and a guy I have a lot of respect for.
“I bumped into him a few times in my tenure here and he has been nothing but class. It was pretty cool to see him wearing that jersey.”
Matthews reportedly had signed the jersey with a personal message to Lowry.

On Sunday, Lowry, who helped lead the Raptors to the 2019 NBA championship, reminded media that he will sign a one-day contract with the Raptors to retire as a member of the franchise.
On Monday in Toronto in the second half of a back-to-back against the Raptors, Lowry was greeted with a standing ovation by fans at Scotiabank Arena as he checked into the game in the fourth quarter for potentially his last NBA game on his former home court.
Meanwhile, a couple of time zones away in Colorado, Matthews had a goal and an assist and played a season-high 25 minutes 29 seconds as the Leafs handed the Avalanche just its third home loss of the 2025-26 regular season.
