Warriors star says the Knicks are potential landing spot for Ja Morant

Warriors star Draymond Green believes the New York Knicks could be a dark-horse team to land Ja Morant.

Golden State Warriors veteran Draymond Green named a surprising team that could be targeting Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant this season.

New York Knicks / Schedule

On The Draymond Green Show, the Warriors forward said the New York Knicks could be a dark-horse team to acquire Morant in the trade market, imagining Ja playing at MSG.

“A dark horse I’d throw out is the New York Knicks," Green stated on his podcast.

"I haven’t seen any reports linking them, but imagine Ja Morant at Madison Square Garden. That’s box office. Needless to say, if Ja Morant is traded, whatever team lands him instantly gets better. Make no mistake—when you have that level of talent, your team improves overnight," he added.

Approaching the trade deadline, Morant has been linked with multiple teams, including the Bucks, Kings, Heat, and others.

Morant has struggled to stay healthy this season, appearing in just 18 games so far. He is also having the least efficient offensive season of his career, averaging 19 points while shooting 40.1 percent from the field.
