Liverpool are on the lookout for Conor Bradley replacements after his knee injury, with Monaco defender Vanderson emerging as a leading candidate.
Said to be available this month, the 24-year-old could add some much-needed squad depth if he were to move to Merseyside, though it isn’t clear as of yet how much he would cost to acquire.
Jeremie Frimpong scored a wonderful goal against Barnsley, but he can’t play every game, especially after recently returning from injury himself.
Liverpool accelerate search that leads them to Vanderson
According to TEAMtalk, the Reds have stepped up their search following a serious knee injury to Conor Bradley, which has ruled the Northern Ireland international out after he required surgery.
The setback has left Arne Slot light on options on the right side of defence, prompting the club to assess both short-term and long-term solutions.
Vanderson is understood to be open to a move to the Premier League and is viewed internally as the most established option on Liverpool’s current three-man shortlist.

The 24-year-old Brazil international has registered two assists in 12 appearances across all competitions for Monaco this season and is regarded as a dynamic, attack-minded full-back with top-level experience.
Who else are Liverpool considering to replace Bradley?
Liverpool have also monitored Feyenoord youngster Givairo Read and Benfica defender Daniel Banjaqui in recent weeks, but both are considered more developmental profiles.
By contrast, Vanderson’s experience in Ligue 1 and European competition is seen as a key advantage as Liverpool look for immediate reliability.

The Monaco right-back is said to be available during the current transfer window, although his exact valuation remains unclear at this stage.
If a deal can be struck, Vanderson could offer Liverpool much-needed balance on the right flank, easing the burden on Jeremie Frimpong while providing defensive cover during a critical period of the season.
For now, Liverpool’s interest appears exploratory, but Vanderson is firmly on the radar as the club weighs up its next move.
