Milwaukee Bucks injury report vs Timberwolves lists 3 out, 1 starter questionable will illness

The Milwaukee Bucks are hoping to get back on the winning track as they return home from their four-game West Coast road trip. Unfortunately, they will not have an easy time in doing so as their opponent upon their return to Fiserv Forum is the 26-14 Minnesota Timberwolves.

Fortunately for the Bucks, they are relatively healthy as Giannis Antetokounmpo has shown no lingering effects from the calf strain that cost him most of the month of December.

However, there is one starter for Milwaukee who may not be able to play tonight due to an illness.

While Giannis is able to play, hopefully without a minutes restriction, starting center Myles Turner is currently listed as questionable by the Bucks due to an illness. Turner is averaging 12.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game this season.

He is also shooting 42/39/76 from the field.

Additionally, Milwaukee has listed the following three players as out for tonight’s game:

Alex Antetokounmpo (G-League)

Pete Nance (G-League)

Taurean Prince (neck)

The Timberwolves have listed the following five players as out:

Anthony Edwards (foot/rest)

Enrique Freeman (G-League)

Rudy Gobert (suspension)

Terrance Shannon Jr. (foot)

Rocco Zikarsky (G-League)

As one can see, Minnesota will be without its two biggest stars, Edwards and Gobert. The former is dealing with a foot injury that requires him to miss games periodically so that he can rest it. Gobert was suspended by the NBA for receiving his sixth flagrant foul of the season.

With Edwards and Gobert out, the Bucks certainly stand a better chance of winning the game. At 17-22, they are hoping that they can start stringing together some victories to get back into the Eastern Conference playoff picture.

This game marks the first of a stretch in which Milwaukee will play four of six contests at home.
