Chelsea host London rivals Arsenal on Wednesday, in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final.
Both the Blues and the Gunners cruised through the third round of the FA Cup over the weekend, but both sides must now turn their attention to an intriguing semi-final tie.
Liam Rosenior will take charge of his first home game when the Gunners make the short trip across the capital to Stamford Bridge, while Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will be wary that his side have important matches ahead in their pursuit of the Premier League title.
Chelsea currently sit eighth in the English top flight table, having won just one of their last nine matches in the competition.
Away from the action, it appears that the west London giants have also recently been dealt a blow in their pursuit of a Premier League star.
As per TEAMtalk, West Ham United midfielder Lucas Paqueta has rejected interest from several clubs including Chelsea.
The report claims that the Brazil international has snubbed approaches from the Blues, Tottenham Hotspur, and Aston Villa in recent weeks.

Paqueta, 28, has made more than 130 appearances for the Hammers since joining from French side Lyon back in 2022.
He was the subject of an FA betting probe for several months, but was cleared of all charges in July last year.
The central midfielder is said to be keen to depart The London Stadium and rejoin Brazilian side Flamengo, where he started his career before moving to Europe to join AC Milan in 2019.
The Brazilian side are said to have held talks with West Ham via intermediaries, and have made it clear that they would be willing to pay around £30 million to sign Paqueta.
Despite this, West Ham are said to be holding out for a fee in excess of the £42.5 million that they paid to sign the player, and deal could therefore exceed the £50 million mark.
Chelsea, Villa and Spurs are all said to have made contact with West Ham and Paqueta’s representatives in recent weeks, although all three sides were informed that the player himself has no interest in joining another English side and will only leave east London to return to his first club.
