Chelsea have contacted the representative of Feyenoord star Anis Hadj Moussa, according to a report.
The Algeria international suddenly seems to be heading for the exit at Feyenoord. Earlier on Tuesday, it was revealed that Olympique Marseille had begun exploring a move.
Now, Foot Mercato reports that Chelsea have also held talks with Mohamed Dahmane, the agent of Hadj Moussa. His departure therefore appears to be gaining momentum.
According to Sacha Tavolieri, Marseille had already been in talks with Hadj Moussa before the winter break. The journalist reports that Feyenoord are still waiting for an initial offer from the Ligue 1 giants.
Feyenoord are understandably reluctant to sell a key player mid-season. However, there seem to be serious concerns in Rotterdam that Hadj Moussa's departure could come sooner than anticipated.
Chelsea open Hadj Moussa talks
Chelsea now appear to be firmly in the race for the 23-year-old as well. Feyenoord are aware that discussions with the Blues have taken place.
The report claims that there is a chance a move could happen this winter. If an offer arrives at De Kuip that Feyenoord simply can't refuse, Hadj Moussa will be released.

The two above-mentioned reports don't specify what the Rotterdam club's current asking price is. African media previously reported that Olympique Marseille would be willing to pay €30 million for the Algerian.
Hadj Moussa extended his contract with Feyenoord last summer after a strong first season in Rotterdam. This means the winger is now tied to the club until 2023. Hadj Moussa currently has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €24m.
Feyenoord are in a strong position to demand a substantial fee, and his contract extension wasn't entirely without reason. Last summer, there were also many rumours about a departure from Feyenoord.
At the time, Benfica were mentioned as a possible new club. It was claimed that Hadj Moussa himself was eager to make the move, but the contract extension put an end to those claims.
Hadj Moussa was already a valuable asset to Feyenoord last season with his attacking output, and this season he has already racked up seven goals and three assists. He also produced a standout performance with two assists for Algeria against Equatorial Guinea at AFCON.
