Liam Rosenior faces his first big test as Chelsea boss against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg this week.
It doesn’t get much more difficult than Arsenal at this moment in time. The North London club currently finds itself on a streak of nine games without losing.
Of course, the win over Charlton will give the players and Liam Rosenior some much-needed confidence after a poor run, but now it’s crunch time with a chance of silverware.
Chelsea could be without the likes of Cole Palmer and Reece James for the clash, which could see Rosenior turn to Andrey Santos or an outside choice like Facundo Buonanotte in the 10 role.
However, one thing that does need to be tidied up in big games is the discipline, as seven red cards this season is unacceptable and has contributed massively to Chelsea dropping points from winning positions.

Enzo Maresca never beat Arsenal during his time as Chelsea boss
The departure of Enzo Maresca was met with fury from the Chelsea fanbase, as a disagreement with the medical team and other niggling issues saw the club come to an agreement on his exit.
However, there has been a resurgence behind Rosenior since he took charge. He seems like he has the interests of the club at heart and is so eager to make things work.
He has the perfect opportunity to show fans what his side is capable of against Arsenal, which, with a win, would see him do something that Enzo Maresca couldn’t in his tenure.
In his three games against Arsenal, Maresca could only manage two draws and one loss.
