The Milwaukee Bucks are 17-22 on the season and are coming off of a West Coast road trip that saw them go 2-2. In any other recent year, such a trip out west would have been met with great satisfaction by fans as Milwaukee has, historically speaking, struggled on such excursions.
However, this year is different in many ways, and the losing record that currently has them outside of the Eastern Conference playoffs has fans, and presumably everyone in the organization, a bit on edge.
And while Giannis Antetokounmpo finally and explicitly telling reporter he will never ask for a trade away from the Bucks, the team wants to ensure that they continue to win with him. As such, they have been linked to several names in recent NBA trade rumors, including Charlotte Hornets star Miles Bridges.

According to multiple reports, Milwaukee has apparently expressed interest in acquiring Bridges from the Hornets, who are 14-26 and apparently ready to move on from their controversial star.
Bridges, who sat out the entire 2022-23 NBA season due to a criminal investigation into domestic abuse, has carried the shadow of his offenses ever since. He is currently on three-years probation after pleading no contest to a felony charge of attacking the mother of his children while they were present.
This, of course, has led many Bucks fans to sour on the idea of adding Bridges, despite the fact that current Milwaukee guard Kevin Porter Jr. has a similar disturbing history:

Miles Bridges would be a strong basketball fit for the Bucks, but combining his off-court history with KPJ’s would bring a ton of backlash. https://t.co/dg8IMcN5FQ

Bridges is averaging 19.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists per game this season and is shooting 44/33/85 from the floor.
