Trae Young Injury: Washington Wizards release latest injury report

Young (knee, quad) is still out for Washington heading to their upcoming Clippers matchup.

As expected, Trae Young will remain on the sidelines for the Washington Wizards.

Atlanta Hawks / Schedule

In the team's injury list ahead of their Wednesday tilt against the Los Angeles Clippers, Young was marked as unavailable to suit up.

The newly-acquired Wizards star is still continuing his recovery from a right quadriceps contusion and a right knee MCL sprain. It remains to be seen when he can make his D.C. debut.

Right now, the Wizards are focused on letting him fully recover following last week's major trade with the Atlanta Hawks.

Young has been restricted to just 10 games this season due to injuries. He is averaging 19.3 points and 8.9 assists per game.

With Young still out, Bub Carrington and Tre Johnson are still set to play more for Washington at the point.
