Ahead of their Tuesday showcase against the visiting Atlanta Hawks, JJ Redick informed reporters that Hachimura has a minutes restriction of around 18 minutes of play.
Despite being cleared to play after missing the last six games due to a right calf strain, Hachimura didn't suit up in the Lakers'124-112 loss against the Sacramento Kings.
The Lakers intended this to keep the Japanese star prepared and well for the second night of their back-to-back slate.
Hachimura appeared in 27 games so far this season, averaging 12.7 points and 3.8 rebounds.
As his minutes will be limited, Jake LaRavia is set to play more for the Lakers as they'll aim to bounce back over Atlanta.
