The prolific striker won the golden boot in the Cherries promotion season last term and is on 12 goals in 18 games so far this season.
She admitted that a goal on Sunday would be huge, and, when asked about the prospect of scoring against City, Markham said: “Oh, I mean, I've manifested it for the past couple weeks, to be honest, before bed!
“It would be incredible moment in my career and to share it with all the girls that we've built such a great project on here would be incredible, I think.
“It'd be the best moment in my career so far and it's something that I've certainly dreamed of.”
While she has a hatful of goals so far this term, Markham is second in the Cherries standings, behind summer arrival Sophie Quirk, who has scored 17.
She admitted she enjoys playing with the former Portsmouth forward and she’s enjoying the internal competition.
“I obviously won the golden boot last season in the league and that was a big achievement and I knew that it was going to be a lot harder getting goals coming into the harder league this season,” Markham explained.
“So I'm happy with how I've done so far. And Sophie's an amazing player.
“She won, I think it was young player in the championship last season.

“So to play alongside her and be scoring goals with her and it's a privilege and I think she's a great player and I'm happy for the both of us that we're doing so well this season.”
On her targets for the campaign, she said: “Last season I set myself 30. And coming into a higher league, I reduced that to 25 but if I could get 25 this season that would be a huge achievement for me.
“So yeah, that's my goal at the moment.”
