As the Milwaukee Bucks search for ways to upgrade the roster and keep the Giannis Antetokounmpo era on track, a new name has surfaced in recent speculation. While some around the league have floated Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant as a possible target, recent chatter has linked Milwaukee to Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges as another potential option to bolster the supporting cast around Antetokounmpo.
NBA insider Matt Moore noted that Milwaukee has emerged as a potential suitor for Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges, signaling the Bucks’ continued push to strengthen the roster around Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The organization keeps exploring ways to raise its ceiling and stabilize the Antetokounmpo era, even as outside chatter links the team to various trade targets. For his part, Antetokounmpo addressed that noise last Thursday, telling The Athletic that his “plan is to be here for the rest of my career.”

“Speaking of Bridges, the Hornets forward— who should absolutely not be in the NBA and who has a -2.5 on-court net rating and -8.5 on/off split— has drawn interest from Milwaukee as they continue to try and troll for an upgrade to magically unlock some version of the team that keeps Giannis from leaving,” Moore wrote in his article.
Bridges has delivered 19.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game this season, knocking down 44.3 percent of his shots from the floor.
With the deadline nearing, trade chatter continues to swirl around Giannis Antetokounmpo and how the Bucks plan to upgrade the roster. Milwaukee has explored multiple avenues in its search for added talent.

Sam Amick of The Athletic reports that several players remain on the team’s radar. Among those drawing increasing attention is Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr., a name gaining momentum as the Bucks evaluate options to bolster the lineup moving forward.
It is still unclear whether the Bucks will make a push for Bridges, Porter or which moves they will ultimately make as the trade deadline approaches.
