LeBron James delivers strong response following JJ Redick’s rant at his haters

LeBron James responded to JJ Redick’s comments about certain people disrespecting him in his 23rd season, saying he hopes he has made an impact on the fans who have stood by his side throughout those 23 years.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James continues to deliver incredible performances on the court despite being in his 23rd NBA season and at the age of 41.

The latest example came on Tuesday night, when he led the Lakers to a dominant 141–116 win over the Atlanta Hawks.

LeBron finished with 31 points (12/20 FG, 2/4 3PT), nine rebounds, and 10 assists in 32 minutes of action, guiding Los Angeles to its 24th win of the season.

Despite his production, LeBron continues to receive criticism from certain people who believe he should call it a day, questioning his effort on the court.

Reacting to that narrative after the game, Lakers head coach JJ Redick said it’s crazy how people disrespect LeBron without understanding how much he still cares about the game. His comments also drew a strong response from James himself postgame.

“I just hope that once I’m done that I made an impact for the people that follow my career and watch me — my fans that have been locked in with me for over 23 years since I kind of started this journey as a high school freshman. That’s all that matters. My crew that’s been with me — everything else doesn’t matter,” LeBron said when asked about the criticism.

This season, the 41-year-old is averaging 22.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 6.9 assists in around 33 minutes per game.

Meanwhile, the Lakers sit fifth in the Western Conference with a 24–14 record.
