Ben White is a player believed to be on Everton’s radar for the January window, but there is another target for the Blues who he has already given his approval of.
Everton are yet to move in the January market despite their clear need for improvement due to their weak squad depth.
Two weeks have already flown by as David Moyes prepares for a difficult task this weekend against Aston Villa with a decimated squad.
Everton are interested in Arsenal’s Ben White, but prising players away from north London may prove difficult as they lead the Premier League.
If there is a club to be signing players from, though, it is Arsenal given the start to the season they have enjoyed under Mikel Arteta.
White may prove just too difficult to land over the coming weeks, but there is a player who he absolutely loves that Everton are also keen on.

Ben White approves Everton target amid Merseyside interest
It has been suggested that Everton have Ethan Nwaneri on their radar in what would be a huge scalp for the Toffees.
The young midfielder is a player who has been tipped for a bright future, but has recently found game time hard to come by in north London.

“He’s so good in training, he’s literally probably the best trainer every day,” he said.
“His technical levels are the best and he’s got so much to like learn and do – it’s just crazy.”
White is not the only player to speak highly of the 18-year-old talent, with Gabriel Jesus suggesting Nwaneri could be as good as Phil Foden.
The potential for Nwaneri to develop is incredibly high, but whether Everton could prise him away on a permanent deal would be interesting.
Everton must focus on adding goals in January
Over recent hours, Everton have opened talks for Youssef En-Nesyri as the Blues consider adding another striker.
Clearly, there is an issue up front for Everton, with the two strikers combining for a total of five goals this season.
Who would Ethan Nwaneri start ahead of in a fully fit Everton XI? 🤔

Simply put, that is nowhere near good enough.
Thierno Barry and Beto have not been anywhere near the standards needed for a Premier League club, but questions will also be asked whether they are getting good enough service.
Moyes has demanded more from his full-backs and adding a player like Nwaneri as a creative spark could certainly prove another outlet in front of goal.
It just makes Everton’s slow start to the window even more baffling given how many positions need adding to.
