Three key Arsenal players out for Chelsea match tonight and two major doubts

There are reportedly three key Arsenal players out of the game against Chelsea tonight with two major doubts as well.

Obviously any Arsenal side that is put out tonight is going to be a good side, and Chelsea will know that. The Blues also have their own major injury doubts ahead of the game tonight as well, so it could be equal issues.

It looks like Chelsea’s main man Cole Palmer is going to be out of the game tonight as well, at least that is what Liam Rosenior appeared to be hinting at with his latest embargoed comments that came out late last night.

Palmer will be a big miss for Chelsea if he doesn’t make this game, which is a first leg of the League Cup semi finals. But obviously Rosenior and Chelsea will feel that even if he does miss out again, they should have enough to trouble the Premier League leaders tonight.

Arsenal injury issues

As reported on the Arsenal website this morning, Hincapie, Calafiori and Mosquera are all out for the trip to Chelsea as the trio of defenders aim to recover from their respective injuries.

While William Saliba and Leandro Trossard are both doubts after missing their trip to Portsmouth in the FA Cup.

Big game coming up

The last time these two sides met it ended in a 1-1 draw, and that was with Chelsea getting a man sent off. Many believed that Chelsea were actually the better side and would have won the game if they kept all eleven players on the pitch.

It’s not going to be easy for either side tonight in what we hope will be an entertaining and big game coming up!
