Fans say the same wild thing after Giannis Antetokounmpo’s behavior in Bucks-Timberwolves

The Milwaukee Bucks don’t need more drama as they navigate through what is turning out to be a rough 2025-26 season for the team, but Giannis Antetokounmpo just sparked another wave of discussions about his future with the team when he unleashed on Bucks fans Wednesday night.

Early in the third quarter of the game against the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Anetokounmpo scored a basket against the defense of former Kentucky Wildcats star Julius Randle. Antetokounmpo fell to the ground in doing so, and before he got up, he was seen on camera booing the home crowd.

The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player seemingly did that as a rebuttal of sorts to fans booing him and the Bucks in the first half.

Fans think Giannis Antetokounmpo is leaving the Bucks

Meanwhile, fans online believe that Antetokounmpo’s action was just another sign that he’s time in Milwaukee is nearing its end.

“He finna leave the team now,” said a fan on Instagram.

Another one said: “Yeah he packing his bags now”

From a commenter: “Miami is callllllllllinggggg🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥”

“Giannis and Doncic has a nice ring to it,” a social media user posted.

Via a different commenter: “Lmao trade coming”

Said another: “😂😂😂goodluck Milwaukee.. yall just forced the best player out 👏🏾”

Although Antetokounmpo has already said he wanted to stay with the Bucks amid trade speculations, there is always a chance for a change of heart, and his gesture to the crowd could very well be a sign that he’s truly thinking of a way out of Milwaukee before his current contract expires.

Milwaukee lost to the Timberwolves, 139-106, with Antetokounmpo scoring 25 points.
