Kyle Kuzma of the Milwaukee Bucks is not having a good season.

NBA fans online gave Kyle Kuzma a hard time after a poor performance in the Milwaukee Bucks‘ loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night. Kuzma is having the worst season of his career, averaging a career low in points per game.

The former Los Angeles Lakers forward finished with two points, two assists and one block in nearly 21 minutes on the court. He had the worst plus-minus among all Bucks players at -37, as the Timberwolves earned an easy 139-106 win at the Fiserv Forum.

Kuzma is averaging 12.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. He has started in 21 games, but he has been very inconsistent under coach Doc Rivers. His two-point outing against Minnesota was his ninth single-digit scoring game of the season.

The Bucks acquired him from the Washington Wizards at last season’s trade deadline in hopes of helping Giannis Antetokounmpo. They even gave up an aging franchise legend, Khris Middleton, who is averaging 9.3 points per game in Washington this season.

Fans Troll Kuzma After Appearance on ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’

Before the Milwaukee Bucks’ embarrassing loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Kyle Kuzma appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show. It’s unclear when Kuzma filmed the show, but the Bucks were recently in Los Angeles as part of their four-game West road trip.

The show’s official social media accounts didn’t help Kuzma, who did the famous “spirit tunnel” walk before his interview.

The caption read: “@kuz don’t miss!”

So, after his horrendous performance against the Timberwolves, fans on X used the caption and his dance as fodder to troll Kuzma.

“Kyle Kuzma really had a -37 in 21 minutes immediately after this video dropped,” a user wrote.

“Kyle Kuzma had 2 points in 21 minutes tonight while Thanasis had 2 points in 8 minutes,” one fan pointed out.

“Kuzma might be the most overrated basketball player to ever play in the NBA. If not at least Top 3,” another fan tweeted.

To be fair to the one-time NBA champion, he shot just once during the game and made it. However, with his $22.4 million salary this season, he should be shooting more, though that might not be what some Bucks fans want.

“The most inconsistent player ever,” one fan claimed.

“Free Giannis,” another fan quipped.

Kuzma’s Biggest Mentor

In his appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Kyle Kuzma spoke about a variety of topics related to his personal life. Kuzma was happy to speak about his fiancée, Winnie Harlow, who has been very supportive of his career.

The 30-year-old also opened up about the influence of the late Kobe Bryant in his career, calling the Los Angeles Lakers legend his biggest mentor.

“We had a great talk. Basketball, life, business, family, how to move, you know, as a young man. That’s important because a lot of us, we don’t have like that type of guidance, especially when you’re walking into millions of dollars and like this whole different ecosystem that we call a game of basketball. It was really dope to have,” Kuzma said.

The Michigan native is in his ninth year in the NBA, with one year left in his contract after this season.
