There'll be one London club taking the stage at Wembley in the Carabao Cup final. Whether it's Arsenal or Chelsea representing the nation's capital in March's final remains to be seen.
Both clubs have the opportunity to draw first blood when Mikel Arteta's side travel to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday. The Carabao Cup represents a trophy that has rarely been hoisted by Chelsea players in recent years, with the Blues last winning the tournament in the 2014/15 campaign.
The drought when it comes to the Gunners is much more damning as they've not won the trophy since 1993, and only once before that. It's the second year in a row that Arteta has led his side to the final four, but he will be determined to end the club's almost seven-year period without silverware.

The first leg of Chelsea vs Arsenal will take place at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, January 14 at 8pm. Both will be aiming to enter the second leg with an advantage for the reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium, which is scheduled for February 3 at the same kick-off time.

A select number of Carabao Cup games have been available to watch free-to-air on ITV this season. The second leg at the Emirates will be one of those, but Newcastle and Manchester City's first leg on Tuesday was selected for this week instead.
Regarding the EFL Cup deal, the ITV confirmed before the season started that: "As part of the continued deal between Sky Sports and ITV, the broadcaster will give UK football fans the chance to watch free-to-air coverage of select Carabao Cup and EFL matches. A total of 20 matches will be broadcast by ITV in the 2025/26 season, made up of 10 Carabao Cup ties and 10 EFL selections."
