Austin Reaves agent confronts Rich Paul on Lakers sideline

During Tuesday’s Los Angeles Lakers-Atlanta Hawks game, Austin Reaves’ agent, Reggie Berry, confronted Rich Paul on the sideline over Paul’s public trade scenario involving Reaves.

The Los Angeles Lakers 141-116 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday featured more than just LeBron James’ strong performance — it also included a rare sideline confrontation involving star agent Rich Paul and one of Austin Reaves’ representatives.

According to ESPN, Reaves’ agent, Reggie Berry of AMR Agency, approached Paul near half-court at halftime.

The two spoke for more than five minutes, with the conversation focused on the public trade scenario Paul had recently outlined on his podcast, in which he suggested the Lakers could trade Reaves to the Memphis Grizzlies for Jaren Jackson Jr. and other assets.

LeBron quickly addressed the situation after the game, making clear that Paul’s podcast opinions do not reflect his own thinking.

The Lakers’ front office has not commented on the trade scenario, and Reaves remains a key contributor to the team.

Meanwhile, James played a near triple-double in the victory, scoring 31 points with 10 assists and 9 rebounds, showing he remains focused on basketball despite the surrounding media drama.
