Liverpool bring an 11-game unbeaten streak across all competitions to Anfield for a visit from plucky but win-starved Burnley on Saturday.
The Reds’ 11-game run isn’t without blemishes, which perhaps explains why they aren’t being lauded as much as expected after ending a terrible run and propelling themselves back up the table.
Liverpool have drawn their last three league outings, 0-0 vs Leeds, 2-2 at Fulham, and 0-0 at Arsenal. Arne Slot’s men will feel encouraged by more good displays from Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike, but there are major questions at the back after Conor Bradley underwent season-ending surgery to deplete a fullback corps which has been underwhelming even with the Northern Ireland man.
WATCH — Liverpool v Burnley
Scott Parker’s Burnley, meanwhile, have drawn Bournemouth, Everton, and Manchester United in the last few weeks but those three points are their only positive league results since the calendar turned to November.
The Clarets have gone 12 Premier League matches without a win and will hope that last weekend’s 5-1 home triumph over Millwall in the FA Cup can bolster their confidence for a survival fight that has looked less likely by the match week.
Burnley are eight points back of 17th-place Nottingham Forest in the race for safety.

Liverpool vs Burnley prediction
The Clarets have the quality to string together some more positive results and, yes, even wins, but this game doesn’t figure to be included in that mix. Wirtz, Ekitike, and friends have been playing quite well and are in their best form of their short Premier League tenures. Liverpool 3-1 Burnley .
