Everything you need to know about when Mohamed Salah will return to Liverpool as Egypt chase AFCON glory...

Egypt vs Senegal semi-final: Salah will be in action on Wednesday afternoon, but even if Egypt lose, he will remain at AFCON until the weekend.

Third place play-off: That is because Egypt will face either Morocco or Nigeria in either the final or third place play-off depending on the outcome of their semi-final against Senegal.

Earliest possible return: Salah is expected to travel back to Merseyside shortly after his final game (either the 17th or 18th). He would likely arrive in Liverpool between January 19 and 20.

Guaranteed to miss: Salah will definitely miss the Premier League match against Burnley on Saturday, January 17.

Doubtful for next game: Depending on recovery and travel time, he could also remain unavailable for Champions League clash against Marseille on Wednesday, January 21.

Most likely return match: Salah will almost certainly be back available for the Premier League away match against Bournemouth on Saturday, January 24.

Back fit and available: Four days after that clash, Liverpool host Qarabag in the Champions League with Salah most definitely set to feature if he hasn't returned already.
