Toronto Raptors potential trade package for Anthony Davis

Toronto Raptors are reportedly exploring a trade for Anthony Davis, potentially offering RJ Barrett along with Immanuel Quickley or Jakob Poeltl in a deal.

The Toronto Raptors are reportedly among the teams showing interest in acquiring Anthony Davis from the Dallas Mavericks, and sources say they are evaluating what it would take to make a deal happen.

According to Marc Stein of The Stein Line, any potential Raptors offer would likely combine the contracts of RJ Barrett with either Immanuel Quickley or Jakob Poeltl.

Teams might also consider including a future first-round pick to sweeten the deal, though financial relief for Dallas would remain limited even with additional assets.

While Davis’ agent Rich Paul is actively pursuing a trade, sources suggest that the Mavericks are not feeling pressured to move him.

Dallas could choose to keep the star big man past the February 5 trade deadline, depending on offers and their roster plans.

This season, Davis has appeared in just 20 games, averaging 20.4 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game.

The Mavericks currently sit 12th in the Western Conference with a 15–25 record, outside the Play-In spots, making the timing of any trade particularly significant.

Davis is under contract for $58.5 million next season and has a $62.8 million player option for 2027-28, which adds complexity to any potential deal.
