The Philadelphia 76ers look to maintain their recent ascent in a return trip home to Xfinity Mobile Center on Wednesday for the first of back-to-back games against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Wednesday’s contest is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. ET with TV coverage on ESPN and streaming on-demand.

76ers vs. Cavaliers: The matchup
With their 22-16 record this season, the 76ers are a season-best six games above .500 this season, matching their 21-15 mark set last Friday against the Orlando Magic (21-15). Philadelphia then lost the first of back-to-back games against the Raptors in Toronto (116-115 in OT) on Sunday before rallying back to take a 115-102 win Monday night in Toronto. The Sixers, who have won six of their past eight games, are 1.5-point betting favorites against the Cavs.

The Cavaliers remain a work in progress showing signs of playoff life in between bouts of inconsistency that have had Donovan Mitchell and company flirting with the .500 mark for much the 2025-’26 season. Cleveland is just 3-8 in road games against teams with winning records this season and comes off a 131-122 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves in their most recent road outing. The Cavs get two shots at the 76ers in Philly with an off day and another head-to-head contest Friday night at 7 p.m. ET.
