Two legged semi-finals: While a number of tournaments worldwide have one-match semi-final clashes, the Carabao Cup sees sides play over the course of two-legs - with a game landing home and away for each team.
Manchester City hold hefty advantage: Manchester City secured a 2-0 win over Newcastle at St James' Park on Tuesday, meaning they head into their reverse fixture at the Etihad Stadium next month with a major advantage. Antoine Semenyo and Rayan Cherki scored for the Sky Blues in the first match.
Arsenal rule the roost in west London: Elsewhere, Arsenal secured a 3-2 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening - Ben White, Viktor Gyokeres and Martin Zubimendi cancelling out Alejandro Garnacho's second-half efforts.
Next semi-final dates: Chelsea travel to the Emirates Stadium on February 3, while Manchester City play host to Newcastle come February 4.
Carabao Cup final date confirmed: This year's Carabao Cup final will take place on Saturday, March 22.

What time will the final be?: A start time is not confirmed as yet but judging by last year's final and past ones, it is expected to be 4.30pm again.
