Chelsea in talks sign attacker–Blues to pay over£100M for midfielder–Chelsea targets£200k-a-week demands

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer rumours guys…

Chelsea are ready to pay over £100 million to try and secure the services of Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson.

This transfer window has now seen much action for Chelsea in terms of players coming and going, but it has already been chaotic after the club opted to let Enzo Maresca eave the club on new years Day.

Liam Rosenior is in charge of CHELSEA, with alot of pressure on the former Strasbourg boss to make an immediate impact considering the board want Champions League football for next season, and maybe a trophy added too.

The 23-year-old Anderson has excelled since leaving Newcastle for the City Ground and is now firmly established as part of Thomas Tuchel’s plans for next summer’s World Cup.

Unsurprisingly, Anderson’s form has alerted a number of leading Premier League clubs with the likes of Chelsea, Man United and Tottenham all reportedly interested in a deal for the talented midfielder.

And according to a report from TEAMtalk, CHELSEA are definitely interested in signing Elliot.

However, on top of that massive price tag, a potential hurdle to this deal is that Manchester City are currently seen as favourites to land the Englishman’s signature.

IcChelseanews Says…

It is very easy to see why all the big clubs wants Anderson, he has been so impressive for Forest and a player that could become one of the best in his position, but he needs to make the right career choices.

We would like him here, he is a very solid player that has so much potential.

CHELSEA IN HADJ-MOUSSA TALKS

Chelsea have opened talks to sign Feyenoord forward Anis Hadj-Moussa this January, according to reports in France.

CHELSEA have dominated possession in many matches this season, yet the team has struggled to convert chances into goals. The wide areas, in particular, have lacked the ruthlessness expected at the highest level.

At times, Chelsea’s attacks have looked predictable, one-paced, and too reliant on individual moments rather than sustained threat. A new attacker with pace, directness, and goal-scoring instincts would bring a sharper edge and increase the team’s ability to break down compact defences — something they have struggled with repeatedly.

The Paris-born winger caught the eye with a string of impressive cameo performances at the Africa Cup of Nations with Algeria, who were eliminated at the quarter-final stage by Nigeria at the weekend.

It follows an impressive start to the season for Hadj-Moussa at club level, with the 23-year-old racking up seven goals and three assists in 23 appearances for Feyenoord.

French publication Foot Mercato report that Hadj-Moussa’s recent showings at AFCON have won the attacker plenty of admirers across European football – and Chelsea are the latest club to make their move

The report has claimed that CHELSEA have now opened talks with the AFCON star in order to try and get a deal done before the close of the transfer window.

IcFootballnews Says…

The man may be talented, he may be impressing in AFCON, but at the end of the day he is not really a player that we can sign that will come to the club and make an immediate impact, he may not be worth the money.

He is just not good enough to be a CHELSEA player.

GUEHI WAGE DEMANDS

It has been claimed today in the media that Chelsea target Marc Guehi will be looking for a wage of around £200k-a-week when he finally decides to depart Crystal Palace for his next club.

Guehi, who becomes a free agent at the end of the season, had been linked with a January move to Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and CHELSEA for his performances in that Palace shirt over the past few transfer windows.

However – reports in the media this week have claimed that Guehi will be looking for a wage of around £200,000-a-week when he starts to negotiate his move away from Palace this January or at the end of the season.

The news comes after Fabrizio Romano claimed that Guehi would prefer to leave Palace at the end of the season rather than this January window, although he forget to mention the interest of CHELSEA: “I can tell you on Marc Guehi, the intention of the player has always been moving in the summer on a free transfer, with Liverpool really pushing and Arsenal calling because Arteta is a big fan. Bayern [Munich] have also had some meetings for Guehi, but now [Dayot] Upamecano is expected to sign a new contract.

“Manchester City can be clear. They want Guehi, they want to make an important proposal and want to go strong in this January window and will try next week.

“If the player decides to accept, Man City are prepared to make an agreement with Crystal Palace.

‘They don’t see any problems with that, but it’s on the player, and his plan has always been to move in the summer. So let’s see what happens, but Marc Guehi story remains absolutely alive.”
