According to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints, Chicago is asking for an unprotected first-round pick in any deal involving Coby White.
Earlier, sources said the Bulls have been more open than ever to listening to offers for the 25-year-old guard, signaling a possible shift in direction.
White is on a team-friendly contract, earning 12.9 million this season, which makes him an easy fit for many teams from a salary point of view.
However, his situation is complicated by the fact that he is set to become an unrestricted free agent next summer, something that could lower his trade value for teams worried about a short-term rental.
On the court, White has been a steady scorer and secondary playmaker. In 18 games this season, he is averaging 18.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.
He is shooting 45.0 percent from the field and 31.7 percent from three, often carrying a heavy offensive load in the Bulls' backcourt. Chicago currently sits at 19-21, holding the 10th spot in the Eastern Conference.
