Arsenal Women launch Block by Block supporter initiative

Arsenal Women have launched their Block By Block initiative for 2025-26, a supporter consultation designed to make Emirates Stadium truly feel like the home of Arsenal Women and their fans. The Gunners are playing all 11 of their WSL home games at Emirates Stadium for the first time this season.

Ahead of each home game, Arsenal are hosting a consultation with Arsenal fans designed to make the Emirates look and feel like the home of Arsenal Women, with supporters giving their input on elements such as flags and banners, visual identity and match day music so they align with Arsenal Women’s fan culture.

More than 150 supporters have already joined six consultations with a further five consultations planned this season. Arsenal invite different supporters to each consultation and the murals, flags and music are all led by Arsenal supporting creatives.

Players have also been involved with Olivia Smith and Kim Little visiting and players having their input on aspects such as matchday music. Arseblog News attended the consultation focused on match day music and you can see the video for that below.

Arsenal Women have a total of 17,000 season ticket holders and have enjoyed peak crowd of nearly 57,000 this season. There will be new matchday music and hype film is debuted in-bowl at their next home fixture v Manchester City on 8 February.

Richard Garlick, Chief Executive of Arsenal, said, “Our team is fuelled by the passion of our supporters who have been with us throughout our near 40-year journey. Block by Block, the largest supporter-led consultation in the history of our women’s team harnesses the unique and diverse perspectives of the people who have built this community to help shape our next chapter together. Block by Block and continued supporter engagement will drive standards, progress and the sustainable growth of the game.”

Arsenal Women Head Coach Renée Slegers added, “The energy, belief and connection shared between our players and our supporters is so important to what we want to achieve. We have come so far but there are so many more memories we want to create together. Emirates Stadium is our home and we want every supporter to feel pride and connection when they come here.”

Farah Chowdhury, Chair of Arsenal Women Supporters’ Club and Block 10 season ticket holder said, “Arsenal Women’s culture didn’t start with a campaign; it started with the people who stood, sang, painted, designed, or simply showed up. Block by Block is about giving back to that and building forward together.’
