Brooklyn has also received calls about two of its centers: Nicolas Claxton and Day'Ron Sharpe.
According to Evan Sidery of Forbes, multiple teams have contacted the Nets during trade season to inquire about Sharpe.
The 24-year-old backup big man is averaging 7.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game this season. Sharpe is under contract through the 2026–27 season, which includes a $6.3 million team option.
Claxton, meanwhile, remains the Nets' starting center and has posted solid numbers of his own, averaging 13.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.
Sidery also reports that the Charlotte Hornets are actively searching for an impact starting center to pair with their young core. Claxton is one of the primary targets to monitor, alongside Sacramento Kings big man Domantas Sabonis.
Charlotte could potentially put together a trade package built around the expiring contracts of Collin Sexton and Pat Connaughton, along with additional salary filler and draft capital.
