Chelsea supporters and the rest of the footballing world seem to be having differing views on how the club is being run right now.

Blues fans are beginning to lose patience with Behdad Eghbali, who has emerged as the new face of the project in place of Todd Boehly.

A protest is being organised amongst Chelsea fans ahead of the Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge, and they will be hoping their efforts come across better than their previous effort last year.

European clubs envious of Chelsea’s model with Strasbourg

While some Blues fans roll their eyes at the predictability of the appointment, the rest of the footballing world are looking on with jealousy at how Chelsea are using their multi-club model.

Graeme Bailey has stated that a lot of clubs in Europe are envious of the way Chelsea are using Strasbourg, with it now working out for both players and managers.

He told the Fully Loaded Transfer Show: “Chelsea are blazing the trail and it’s the ideal scenario, isn’t it? Using your sister club to generate your next manager. It’s a perfect solution, isn’t it?

“Chelsea are really the envy of a lot of Europe now that the way they’re using Strasbourg and what they’re doing with it.”

This process is not set to change, and this season has Mike Penders, Mamadou Sarr and Kendry Paez on loan there.

The latter was tipped for big things at Chelsea, however things have not worked out as they would have hoped for him so far.

Paez is being linked with a loan move in England if he returns to the club this month, most likely to the Championship to get some minutes under his belt.
