Memphis enters Thursday’s game with a 17-22 record after defeating the Brooklyn Nets at home on Sunday.

In Sunday’s victory over the Nets, Cedric Coward led the way for the Grizzlies as he recorded 21 points and eight rebounds while Jock Landale added 16 points and nine rebounds of his own.
Now Memphis will try to grab another victory on Thursday in a tough matchup against the Magic.
On the other side, Orlando enters Thursday’s contest with a 22-18 record after defeating the New Orleans Pelicans at home on Sunday.

Desmond Bane led the way for the Magic in Sunday’s victory as he ended the game with 27 points, five rebounds and four assists while Anthony Black recorded 26 points, five rebounds and seven assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday afternoon’s game in Berlin, both squads may be without some of their key players.

For the Grizzlies, they have five players listed on their injury report, including star guard Ja Morant.

Memphis has ruled out Morant due to a right calf contusion as he will miss his sixth consecutive contest.
With Morant still sidelined, Cam Spencer and Vince Williams Jr. will likely continue to have increased roles.

The Grizzlies have also ruled out Brandon Clarke, Zach Edey, Ty Jerome and Scotty Pippen Jr. as they all remain sidelined while recovering from injuries.

On the other side, the Magic have only two players listed on their injury report, including guard Jalen Suggs.

Orlando has ruled out Suggs due to a right knee MCL contusion as he will miss his sixth consecutive contest.
With Suggs sidelined once again, Black and Tyus Jones will likely continue to have increased roles.

The Magic have also ruled out Colin Castleton due to a left thumb fracture but the good news for Orlando is that Franz Wagner is off their injury report and will play after being sidelined since December 9 due to left ankle sprain.
