Everton are targeting some experienced international footballers this winter.
The Toffees want Youssef En-Nesyri, who can boast 91 caps for Morocco and a FIFA record to boot, one he snatched from Cristiano Ronaldo.
Callum Wilson is also a target – a man who has netted 92 goals in 256 Premier League appearances.
Everton like Ben White too as David Moyes aims to find a new right-back, according to Pete O’Rourke.
However, The Friedkin Group may now have to give up on bringing the England international to the Hill Dickinson Stadium after he helped Arsenal put one foot in the Carabao Cup final.
Ben White masterclass surely takes Arsenal No.4 out of reach for Everton
This deal looked like an ambitious one in the first place. White cost Arsenal £50m back in July 2021 and still has a contract running until July 2028, so it would presumably be quite expensive for Everton.

Now, it seems even more unlikely to happen after the Arsenal No.4 played a key role in the 3-2 win over Chelsea in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final on Wednesday evening.

White put Arsenal 1-0 up with a smart header into the ground, before helping to make it 2-0 with an assist for Viktor Gyokeres in the 49th minute.
It was just his tenth start of the season in all competitions after losing his spot to Jurrien Timber, hence why Everton even felt they had a chance of completing this deal.

However, White stepped up to show Mikel Arteta he still has plenty to offer in the second half of the campaign, as Arsenal remain in contention to win all four competitions.
It means the Gunners would surely only consider a truly irresistible offer for the 28-year-old close to the £50m they paid Brighton for his signature, a fee Everton presumably won’t go anywhere near.
Everton could help Arsenal earn millions by signing a different right-back in Brooke Norton-Cuffy
White is not the only right-back the Toffees are looking at.
Reports in Italy say Everton like Brooke Norton-Cuffy of Genoa, who Arsenal actually sold to the Serie A side in 2024 for just £2m.

However, the Gunners inserted an undisclosed sell-on clause in the deal, one talkSPORT describe as “significant” for Arsenal.
So, if Everton opt to firm up that interest by making a bid for Norton-Cuffy and a deal materialises, Arsenal would end up benefitting financially.
