Grizzlies drop NBA Berlin Game to Magic, 118-111

BERLIN, Germany. (WMC) - The Memphis Grizzlies dropped the first-ever NBA game in Germany on Thursday.

The Grizz dropped the contest to the Orlando Magic 118-111 despite a 30-point performance from Jaren Jackson Jr.

The Grizzlies shot well from the field (46%) but got minimal offense outside of JJJ, with three starters (Jaylen Wells, Jock Landale, Cam Spencer) combining for just 15 points.

GG Jackson (15 points, +21) and Santi Aldama (18 points) had strong performances off the bench.

Desmond Bane scored 13 points in his first game against his former team.

The Grizzlies drop to 17-23 on the season.

The two teams will meet again, this time in London, for their next matchup on Sunday at 11 a.m.
