The team announced on its initial injury report that Garland is unavailable to play due to right great toe soreness.

Garland took an early exit in the team's 133-107 recent win over the 76ers. He landed his right foot on the floor and appeared to tweaked his toes, prompting him to leave at the third quarter.

The star guard is notably dealing with left big toe issues, wherein the injury prompted him to undergo offseason surgery as it affected him as early as the 2024-25 season.

Garland appeared in 26 games this season, averaging 18.0 points and 6.9 assists.

Meanwhile, Sam Merrill is also out with a right-hand sprain.
