Jaren Jackson Jr. opens up on Ja Morant's Grizzlies support amid trade rumors

Despite trade rumors and inactivity to play, Morant remained fully supportive of the Grizzlies in their Berlin Game against the Magic.

Despite trade rumors and speculations, Ja Morant intriguingly remained fully supportive of the Memphis Grizzlies.

Morant didn't play in the team's Berlin Game on Thursday against the Orlando Magic. But despite his inactivity, that didn't stop him from cheering on the sidelines for the Grizzlies.

The embattled Memphis guard was seen cheering several times whenever his teammates scored the ball. And he was mainly active during the successful plays of Jaren Jackson Jr.

For Jackson Jr., that's simply a priceless and unexpected reaction from Morant in support of the Grizzlies.

"He's like that all the time, really," he said after a 30-point outing in the Grizzlies' 118-111 loss against the Magic. "I mean, he wants us to thrive and do well, and he's one of my biggest cheerleaders for sure. One of my best coaches, too, at times.

"And yeah, I mean, it's dope. It's dope to see. You always have to look at the bench when you do something, man. It's really a family activity. It's family."
