DALLAS — The Utah Jazz fell short against the Dallas Mavericks in game 41 of the regular season at the American Airlines Center on Thursday.
With Lauri Markkanen sidelined, it was Brice Sensabaugh and other role players who stepped up to fill that void. Sensabaugh led the way with 27, and six other Jazz players scored in double figures.
The difference in the loss came from behind the arc. Utah shot 10/36 from three, while the Mavericks knocked down 19 of their 47 attempts from that range.
The Jazz will close out the season series against Dallas later this week as they continue their five-game road trip.

Starting to see a lot of “that’s a legit NBA player” moments from Cody Williams.
Seems like one of the keys is going to be keeping his confidence up.

Cody Williams was debatably the best player on the floor in the first quarter.

The @dallasmavs went on a late run as soon as Keyonte George left the floor, and the @utahjazz trail 35-24 after one.

Third Quarter
That sweeping layup from Cody Williams was his go-to shot at Colorado.
He was really good at snaking into the paint and then rising above the defense with some really unique finishes.
That’s a good shot for him.

The dam has broken for the Utah Jazz; they’re losing the third quarter 29-16 and now trail by 33.

The silver lining is that Cody Williams has been great in really every facet of the game tonight.
