Arne Slot has confirmed Liverpool have avoided any fresh injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with Burnley, though the Reds boss acknowledged three significant long-term absentees remain unavailable.

“Yes, we’ve got a few injuries,” Slot told media. “We’ve got Giovanni Leoni out for the season, we’ve got Conor Bradley out for the season and Alexander Isak out for multiple months. But for the rest I think everyone is available.”

The clean bill of health elsewhere represents a significant boost for Liverpool as they try to cement themselves in the Champions League positions in the second-half of the campaign.

However, there has been some disappointing women’s team front, with newly signed Norway international Anna Josendal set for a spell on the sidelines.

Liverpool FC Women head coach Gareth Taylor confirmed the 24-year-old forward has picked up a niggle that will delay her debut by several weeks.

“Hopefully Anna Josendal, our new winger we have brought in, won’t be too far away,” Taylor said. “She has got a little niggle. We are hopeful to have her available soon but I think she’s going to be a few weeks away.”

The setback represents frustrating news for both player and club, with Josendal having only completed her move to Merseyside on January 8, 2026.

Liverpool signed the Norway international from Swedish side Hammarby IF for an undisclosed fee, with the forward penning a long-term contract at the AXA Melwood Training Centre. She is the club’s third signing of the January window, following the arrivals of Alice Bergström and Jennifer Falk

Josendal, who wears the number 21 shirt, operates primarily as a forward and brings valuable international experience to Taylor’s struggling squad. The 24-year-old has represented Norway’s senior team since June 2022 and featured at the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
