Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal have all shown interest in Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi.

Marc Guehi is moving closer to a move to Manchester City, reports suggest.

Liverpool saw a move for the Crystal Palace centre-back collapse in the summer transfer window. The Reds agreed a £35 million fee only for Palace to pull the plug at the 11th hour.

Guehi’s Selhurst Park contract expires at the end of the season and Eagles head coach Oliver Glasners are open to a sale in the January transfer window if their price tag is met.

And despite Guehi being available on a free transfer in the summer, City are looking to swoop for the England international. Pep Guardiola’s side have lost Joško Gvardiol, Ruben Dias and John Stones to injury and they are keen to bolster their ranks.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed that City have made a ‘big approach’ Romano posted on X: “Manchester City advance on Marc Guehi deal as big approach has been made in the last 12h.Manchester City presented important proposal to Guehi in terms of contract, eventually ready to proceed also with Crystal Palace.Deal now closer with #MCFC.”
