The Bucks’ pursuit of top-tier targets may have stalled, but the front office is still actively exploring the trade market. The team remains intent on strengthening the lineup around Giannis Antetokounmpo, who continues to lead the offense, averaging 29.1 points per game, 9.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists, while shooting 64.9 percent from the field.

The 30-year-old Kuzma, is in the third year of his four-year, $90 million contract and has served a versatile role in Milwaukee’s frontcourt. The veteran forward is averaging 12.5 points and 4.7 rebounds in 26.0 minutes per game while shooting 51.1 percent from the field, though his three-point accuracy has slipped to 32.3 percent.

Meanwhile, Bobby Portis is in the first year of a three-year, $43.6 million contract that includes a player option in the final season. The reserve big man is averaging 13.0 points and 6.5 rebounds in 23.4 minutes per game, shooting 47.2 percent from three on four attempts each contest.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo at the helm and the Milwaukee Bucks sitting 13 games back and 11th in the East while the playoff picture narrows, the coming weeks are expected to shape the direction of the franchise’s 2025–26 campaign.
