Crystal Palace have accepted an offer from Manchester City for captain Marc Guehi, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Eagles were expecting the central defender to leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expired, but a deal has now been brought forward after Pep Guardiola's side looked to strengthen their defensive options this month.
Now a deal between the clubs has been agreed, and Guehi has agreed personal terms, with the final steps on a deal being completed before a formal announcement is made in the coming days, bringing an end to his illustrious time at the club.
Crystal Palace Accept Guehi Bid
Guehi
Guehi, who is widely considered to be one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League, was a strong target for a number of top European club as well as Liverpool, who had agreed a deal to sign him in the summer only for it to collapse on deadline day.
But now Man City have made their move after suffering a number of defensive injuries in recent weeks, and the England international will be moving to the Etihad Stadium instead.
According to Romano, City have agreed a fee worth around £20m for the 25-year-old defender, and Guehi himself has accepted the move now, rather than waiting until the summer window.
Personal terms have already been agreed between Guehi and Man City, and Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has confirmed that the player will not feature in their Premier League game against Sunderland on Saturday as the deal is in it's final stages.

The deal for Guehi to leave was always expected for the summer, but it has now been confirmed that Glasner will also be leaving the club at the end of this season and there will be major changes at Selhurst Park in the summer as a result.
Together, this Palace team has made history and will go down as the club's best ever side. But it is now likely to get broken apart in the space of 12 months, and a rebuild will have to take place.
Guehi's departure is a major blow in mid-season, but he is joining a side that will consistently be challenging for major honours, and he has given his all while wearing a Palace shirt, so he will surely be lauded as a legend whenever he eventually returns.
