Liverpool youngster Amara Nallo, 19, was among those to train with the first-team squad on Friday ahead of the Premier League clash with Burnley at Anfield.
Centre-back Nallo has found himself out of favour in recent months as Wellity Lucky, 20, has trained regularly with the senior squad.
But ahead of the visit of Burnley on Saturday, the former West Ham defender was brought back into the fold along with fellow academy players Kieran Morrison and Tommy Pilling.
First-team regulars Trey Nyoni, Calvin Ramsay and Rio Ngumoha also took part as usual, the latter doing so having shaken off the cramp which forced him into an early exit in Monday’s 4-1 win over Barnsley in the FA Cup.

There was no sign of Alexis Mac Allister with the squad working outside at the AXA Training Centre but it remains to be seen if he is a doubt for the weekend.
Slot’s squad was otherwise as expected, with a 20-man outfield squad training along with goalkeepers Alisson, Giorgi Mamardashvili and Freddie Woodman.
With Liverpool on an 11-game unbeaten run the spirits were high as the players were put through their paces in Kirkby.
They are now fourth in the Premier League but remain 14 points off leaders Arsenal and eight behind both Man City and Aston Villa.
Burnley are 19th having taken just 13 points from 21 games so far and Scott Parker’s side are without a win in their last 12 league games.
However they did secure a 5-1 victory over Millwall in the FA Cup last weekend along with a 2-2 draw with Man United last time out in the league.

Slot is likely to make a number of changes from Monday night, with Milos Kerkez, Ryan Gravenberch, Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike all expected to come in.
If Mac Allister is out the likelihood is that Dominik Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones will line up alongside Gravenberch in midfield with Joe Gomez at right-back and Jeremie Frimpong as right winger.
Szoboszlai could be considered for either role but a lack of senior midfield options – even with Wataru Endo back fit – would likely force Slot’s hands.
