The Grizzlies are reportedly prioritizing Ryan Rollins and a future first-round pick from the Bucks in a potential Ja Morant trade.
With the trade deadline approaching, Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is among the top players to watch who could potentially be traded.

One of the teams rumored to target Morant is the Milwaukee Bucks, who are looking to add another star alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo to boost their playoff aspirations.
Although a deal might not be easy to finalize, NBA insider Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reports that the Grizzlies expect a substantial package in return, including the Bucks’ Most Improved Player candidate and a first-round pick.
“In trade discussions for Morant, the Grizzlies have desired Milwaukee’s 2031 or 2032 first-round pick and Most Improved Player of the Year candidate Ryan Rollins,” Scotto reports.
Scotto adds that forwards Kyle Kuzma or Bobby Portis could potentially be included in a Morant trade.
“The Bucks, meanwhile, have gauged the trade value of forwards Kyle Kuzma and Bobby Portis on the market across the league, sources said. Both players could be included in a Morant trade to make the salary requirements work under CBA rules, but it would leave Milwaukee thin in the frontcourt,” he adds.

Morant’s on-court production this season has been uneven. He has appeared in 18 games, averaging 19.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per game.
His shooting has been a concern, as he is connecting on 40.1% from the field and only 20.8% from beyond the arc. Those efficiency numbers are lower than expected for a player with such a big offensive role.
Still, Morant remains one of the league’s most dangerous guards. His explosiveness with the ball, ability to attack the rim, and vision as a passer continue to stand out.
